Woman with the glow of Inner Work

What to do if you feel stuck

Sometimes when we find ourselves stuck, stagnant or we’ve plateaued and just can’t seem to get to that next level, the barrier often traces back to something that is “inner work” related.

So what is inner work? It’s the work that each of us must do to achieve our highest potential and is centered around understanding who you are and what you believe and value.

The very first step in doing the inner work is to take the eight life goal areas and put them into a priority order. If you’re not familiar with the eight life goal areas that I’m referring to, click here to find them in my complimentary Success Action Planner. I created this printable planner specifically for doing the inner work. If you simply complete this free planning printable, you will have started the process of doing the inner work. The second step is evaluating your belief system. If you’re consistently getting a disappointing or negative result and you don’t understand why, the first thing you should do is look at your beliefs. Limiting beliefs will stop us from getting the outcomes that we desire. Essentially, if you have beliefs like “I can never be rich. I can never be 100% happy. I am too old to find love.” and you allow those beliefs to take root in your mind, these outcomes will manifest themselves in your destiny. You will only have what you believe. Let me repeat that. YOU WILL ONLY HAVE WHAT YOU BELIEVE! Examine your beliefs. Determine if any of your beliefs don’t align with the dreams and goals you’ve set for yourself. Weed those beliefs out.

The inner work is understanding what your vision looks like, and who you are, and what you want, and what you believe. And what you WILL NOT believe. That’s what doing the inner work entails and is a must for every leader, entrepreneur, and creative.

It’s important to note that inner work is not something that someone does just one time. It is an ongoing process that happens throughout one’s lifetime.

You have to be in tune with who you are before you can go out and be effective with other people. Inner work is important. If you’ve done the inner work, that’s great! If not, go download the Success Action Planner now and start doing your inner work today!
